28-week course, commencing 26th August 2025
Tuesdays, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
For children aged 14 - 16 years (S4+)
Through an encouraging environment, we’ll cover all the key areas of the National 5 Maths Curriculum, as well as equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to ace their National 5 English with confidence and ease.
Each of our sessions will begin with a 55-minute lesson focused on a key area of National 5 Maths, followed by a brief refreshment break, where students can relax their minds and have a snack and drink. We’ll then follow with 55 minutes of English tuition, tailored to a vital area of learning for National 5 English.
Our structured yet engaging sessions ensure that students are motivated and encouraged to excel in their studies throughout the duration of our course, as each week will bring a different element to their learning journey! With small class sizes and a supportive learning environment, every student is given the attention they need to feel capable, heard, and motivated.

Session Structure
Each of our sessions consists of 55 minutes of focused Maths instruction and 55 minutes of tailored English tuition, divided by a 5-minute refreshment break.
Curriculum Path
From foundational topics like rounding and indices to advanced topics such as trigonometric functions and quadratic equations, our course is designed to thoroughly cover all areas of learning.
Mock Exams
To showcase progress and build confidence, our course concludes with Mock Exams, allowing our students to put their hard work into practice and see for themselves just how far they have developed throughout the course!

The total one-time cost of this programme is £985.
We understand the financial commitment involved in top-quality education; we offer a convenient flexible payment option of 7 instalments of £155 on a monthly basis - allowing you to split the cost of our course without any hassle.
The first payment will be collected in August.

Where are the sessions held?
The sessions are held at Kev’s Class Centre: 3 Kingsknowe Park, EH14 2JQ
Can parents stay?
We have a games room and snack station at our centre. Parents are welcome to stay whilst the children are learning upstairs. We have a complimentary snack station and refreshments on hand. You can also drop off and pick up your child if you prefer.
Do I need to book all sessions?
Yes, This course must be booked as a whole block in order to receive the full benefits of the course and you are unable to select individual sessions out of the block. We do offer a 7-instalment payment plan option if you would like to spread out the cost of the course.
Who will be running the sessions?
The sessions are planned and delivered by the Kev’s Class Team. We are curriculum experts and strive to plan workshops that are fun and interactive while still being rooted in important Scottish Curriculum outcomes.
Does my child need to bring anything?
Please bring your own scientific calculator along to each lesson. Apart from that, we provide all the resources needed for your child to have a great time in every session! Please also feel free to bring a snack and drink along for our break time.
Will there be breaks during the 28-week programme?
Yes, we've carefully scheduled breaks to ensure that students have time to recharge and enjoy holidays with their families. These breaks include time off for Christmas and other holidays.

Is there a deadline for signing up?
Yes, the deadline for signing up to our summer programme is at the end of July. We encourage you to register early to secure your child's spot and ensure they don't miss out on this valuable opportunity.
