About Kev's Class
At Kev’s Class, we are a small, close-knit team that goes above and beyond to ensure every child leaves our tuition centre feeling happy and confident about their education! We foster a supportive, secure and fun learning environment that empowers students to become enthusiastic and self-assured learners. We believe every child should be able to enjoy their education and meet their learning goals.
Our team of tutors are highly qualified in all aspects of Primary and Secondary education, including a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent. They are also knowledgeable about the Scottish Curriculum. Our teaching staff are specifically selected because of their expertise and love of teaching. We continually invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development which maintains their motivation, commitment, and enjoyment.

Benefits Of Working At Kev's Class
Hourly rate of pay based on the number of students in a session (from £18 to £27 per session) - Base rate of £15 per hour

High School Tutor (S1 - S6)
Kev's Class is a small team of experienced tutors. We help 5+ year-olds with Maths, English and reading.
Offering private or small group sessions, students can improve their studies either face-to-face or online.
All of our teaching is closely mapped with the Scottish Curriculum, ensuring everything is relevant to our member's academic goals.
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience, and the ability to work with children aged 11 + years. The candidate will be responsible for delivering both private and group tutoring sessions at Kev's Class Centre. Sessions may be either in-person or online, both of which need to be completed at our centre. There is no opportunity for remote working.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality English and Math tutoring to students 11 + years at NATIONAL 5 Level Maths and English
- Deliver both private and group tutoring sessions
- Create and implement lesson plans and activities to meet the needs of each student
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians- Specialise in specific age group if required
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Strong knowledge of English and Math curriculum specific to the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The right to work in the UK- Experience with online tutoring is a plus
- Confident with the use of online systems and student management software
