We tutor children from 5 years +, offering English and Maths tuition that aligns with the Scottish Curriculum. Our dedicated focus on building confidence and facilitating learning ensures every child feels confident in their academic journey.

At Kev's Class, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to enjoy their education and meet their learning goals. Our values have all been chosen to help us create a space where children feel empowered, confident, and ready to learn.

We want to provide the highest quality educational support to the families we work with at affordable prices.

Our teaching staff are selected based on their experience, knowledge of chosen teaching subjects and love of teaching. Our staff are fully vetted and undergo a rigorous training programme to ensure they can best deliver the Kev's Class model of learning.

At Kev's Class, we believe in small class sizes that allow students to receive tailored one-to-one support as they would in a private session whilst still enjoying the benefits of interacting with other students.

We believe that feedback is crucial, as such our tutors are on hand to give feedback to parents on their child's progress after every session. We also provide detailed written feedback after every session.

Who We Are

Kev's Class Tuition Centre got its start during the pandemic in 2021! What began as an online tuition service has expanded to an in-person tuition centre - complete with a snack station and games area!

With 10 years of experience, Kev decided to do things a bit differently at Kev's Class by creating a space which fosters learning in a fun and safe environment where children aged 5 years + can feel supported and develop a love of learning.

We focus on building confidence in our learners as a means to long-term academic success!

Message From Kev

Hello, I’m Kev! I’m an experienced educator based in Edinburgh and I run Kev’s Class Tutoring. When I was younger, I never thought that I would be an educator, but here I am!

At 15 years old, I started volunteering my time to teach public speaking and debate alongside tutoring primary school children who found school tricky. I ended up loving it and have been an educator ever since. I’ve got a wide range of experience having taught Scuba Diving in Thailand, running English Language summer camps in Romania and starting my tutoring career in Edinburgh about 5 years ago while attending Heriot-Watt University.

, I grew increasingly concerned that there wasn’t anything targeted to the Scottish Education system. Out of this, Kev’s Class was born.

We put building your children’s confidence first, facilitating their academic progress through activities completely tailored to the Scottish Curriculum. Over the last year, we have tripled our capacity, opened up our own centre and have an ever-growing team of like-minded expert tutors.
