Thinking About Leaving

A gentle place to pause before you decide

If you are here, it means you have shared that you are thinking about making a change. That is not an easy place to be, and it often comes after a lot of quiet thought at home.

Before you make any final decisions, we want to offer you space, clarity, and support. This page is not about persuading you to stay. It is about helping you feel informed, grounded, and confident about whatever comes next for your child and your family.

Kev’s Class is built around long term relationships. Your child matters to us, and so does your experience as a parent. Many families tell us that even considering leaving brings up questions, doubts, or mixed feelings. That is completely normal.

Before You Decide, Take a Moment

Often, the thought of leaving is not about one single thing. It can be about timing, energy, finances, confidence dips, or simply life getting busier. Sometimes it is about a child doing well and wondering if support is still needed. Sometimes it is about something external that has shifted.

We have created a gentle guide to help you reflect on your child’s journey, understand what might be underneath the feeling of wanting to leave, and explore options you may not have considered yet.

Download the Thinking About Leaving Pack

Our Thinking About Leaving pack is designed to be read slowly, without pressure. It walks you through common reasons families consider leaving, explains how confidence and learning develop over time, and outlines the support and flexibility that may be available to you.

It also clearly explains what happens next if you do decide to leave, so there are no surprises.

You can download the pack below and take time to read it in your own space.

You Don’t Have to Work This Out Alone

Before families make a final decision, we always offer a short conversation with us. This is a space to talk openly, ask questions, and make sure you feel supported and heard.

There is no rush and no pressure. Sometimes this conversation alone brings clarity.

A Note on Membership Changes

We want to be open and transparent. All membership changes, including ending tuition, require one full calendar month’s notice.

If you have already told us that you are thinking about leaving, that date is honoured as your notice start. This allows you time to reflect and explore your options without feeling rushed.

Next Step, A Short Conversation with Us

In order to move forward, we ask that every family has a short conversation with one of us.

This is an important part of our process and ensures we understand your situation properly, support your child with care, and guide you clearly through the next steps.

We will either reach out to you directly to arrange this, or you can book a time that suits you using the link below.

This conversation is not about persuading you to stay. It is about listening, offering clarity, and making sure any decision is made with full understanding and confidence.
